Marianne Mann, MD

Dr. Marianne Mann is an independent regulatory consultant who works with PharmApprove on specifically requested projects. She is a pulmonologist and intensivist who trained at the University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Mann joined the FDA in 1994 and in her nine years there served as a Medical Officer (Antiviral and Special Pathogens Divisions) and Deputy Director of two divisions (Reproductive/Urologic and Pulmonary/Allergy). While at the Agency, Dr. Mann taught a course for medical officers on how to prepare and present at FDA Advisory Committee meetings. She also presented at numerous FDA Advisory Committee meetings on behalf of the Agency. Since leaving the FDA in 2003, Dr. Mann has consulted on multiple projects with industry, across dozens of therapeutic areas for products in various stages of development. Dr. Mann is a 1986 graduate of the Medical College of Pennsylvania, where she completed a 6–year accelerated BA-MD program in conjunction with Lehigh University.
